Patient Reference Group & Patient Survey

Patient Involvement

Burton Croft Surgery is fully committed to listening to and acting upon the views of patients in planning its activities. Patient and carer feedback is an invaluable source of information to improve the range and quality of our services.

Patients and carers can become involved in a number of ways by;

  • Taking part in patient surveys
  • Joining our active Patient Reference Group
  • Responding to patient involvement initiatives of the Leeds West Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) of which Burton Croft Surgery is a Member

The following pages provide information on the activities of our patient group and how to join - plus links to the CCG and other relevant web sites.

Burton Croft Surgery Patient Reference Group

The Burton Croft patient reference group membership is formed from patients interested in helping the practice to improve the range and quality of its services. Members of the group meet quarterly to discuss current issues and developments and measure progress against the current patient survey action plan.

Additional sub groups work with practice staff on important matters of interest.

All patients are invited to become members of the group and we are keen to achieve a good representation of our entire patient population. The group agenda is designed to give understanding of the needs of the whole patient community and to set realistic service improvement goals with the practice. It does not address individual or confidential health matters or complaints.

Extracts from the most recent group meeting notes are in the Patient Group News page

For those patients who wish to be involved without attending regular meetings a Virtual Group is also established. This gives opportunities to raise items for discussion, receive meeting notes and feedback views on areas relevant to the main group.

If you wish to consider joining the Main or Virtual Patient Reference Group please contact the surgery on 0113 274 4777 and ask the Secretaries Department.
