Burton Croft Surgery is a training practice which means we will have GP Trainees (Fully qualified doctors in training to become GP’s) working with us. We are also involved in the training of Medical students, Dental students and nurses.
Trainees often bring with them new skills, knowledge and enthusiasm, all of which we feel benefits our patients. We know that our trainees will enjoy working alongside us and will also help to enhance our patients experience at the surgery. GP Trainees also bring extra appointments to the practice which offers more choice to our patients.
The practice needs to meet rigorous standards and inspection in order to train and this benefits all our patients.
We hope the trainees will bring new ideas and help to keep us on our toes. Please help us to make them all feel welcome.
